In order to become a certified instructor, you must successfully complete the Level One Certification Course. This course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of Art Clay. The curriculum consists of 7 different projects taught over a three day period (24 hours of instruction). A variety of techniques are covered, including the use of organic forms, creating flat and round-shank rings, addition and firing gemstones and porcelain. The student will learn how to create a mirror finish, set a pearl, place a gemstone in a pronged setting, and much more. This course provides general and technical information, as well as some helpful teaching guidelines. The course cost includes, supplies, clay, use of instructors tools, and Level One Book. Upon successful completion of this course, each student is entitled to:
l. Discount on Art Clay Silver Series products(when purchased through ACW USA Inc.). This discount is also available through several on line suppliers, allowing a wide variety of choices in Art Clay Products as well as PMC products, at the certified discount.

Senior Level Certification Course:
The Senior Certification Course is designed to provide advanced technqiues as well as a creative challenge for the individuals who have completed Level One or Crossover Certification. There are a total of six projects taught over 24 hours (typically 3 eight hour days). This course teaches students to incorporate gold foil, glass, and fine silver bezel wire into metal clay. It also introduces the use of three-dimensional design, with emphasis on detail and fine finishing. The cost includes tuition and all supplies, please call or email for the most current pricing. Successful completion entitles you to:
1. Discount on Art Clay Series products (when purchased through ACW USA, Inc.). 2. Purchases over $500 may be granted "net 15" payment terms for accounts in good standing. 3. Teach all levels of Art Clay courses, including the Level One, Crossover and Senior Level Certifications.
Art Clay World approves and certifies instructors by reviewing an application and jurying a selection of 3 pieces of original work. The pieces submitted must reflect the techniques and skills the individual learned during their Art Clay education, as well as the ability to creatively design original pieces while following guidelines.

This is a one 8 hour day class covering 3 projects. These projects bridge the gap between the PMC and Art Clay Curricula. Taking the Crossover Class will fully certify you in Art Clay as Level 1 Instructor. The course tuition includes all supplies, book, and a full day of instruction.
